UMN students will will attend a virtual health and safety orientation from 1-2 PM

October 21-25, 2024 | Virtual Onboarding Week

Students complete mandatory virtual onboarding to prepare for the busy week ahead and form international multi-disciplinary teams.​ Dates and times TBA. Approximately 4 hours commitment.

October 26-27, 2024 | Arrival in Pittsburgh

Students will travel to Pittsburgh, PA. Optional city sightseeing tour on Sunday.

October 28-November 1, 2024 | Sprint Week at the University of Pittsburgh

October 28, 2024 | Welcome reception & networking

Once arrived, students will spend the day settling in and meeting other participants.

October 29, 2024 | Working Session

Students work at their own pace to ideate and turn their idea into a concept. Students work to turn their concepts into qualitative hypotheses.

October 30, 2024 | Working Session

Students work to turn their concepts into qualitative hypotheses. Students work on prototype development and pivot.

​

October 31, 2024 | Working Session

Students prepare their business model and receive validation. Students prepare their pitch.

​

November 1, 2024 | Pitches

Students give their pitch to the jury. There will be a round of pre-finals and grand finals.
